In this particular activity, Anna Conda has been murdered. Students must answer questions to figure out who dunnit, with what, and where.
These questions consist of modeling sinusoidal relationships. However, you can adapt the lesson to use any content. We both agree that students need the practice, and this activity is a great alternative to a boring worksheet.
We hang the questions around the room and give students a time limit at each station. The answers correspond to a name, place, or weapon, which will be eliminated when answered correctly. Once finished, the remaining suspect, location, and weapon will be revealed.
